Don’t really want to let this go but I need a 4WD. I bought this 3 years ago and haven’t used it as much as I wish. Mostly drove to work and back which was only about 4 miles a day and around town, and maybe 3 times drove it 2 hours away to a campground and back.
ODO says 106,315 but I’m guessing it is closer to 120,000 since I noticed the odometer wasn’t turning after I had it for a couple of weeks. Since I’ve owned it I have replaced the tires with heavy sidewall truck tires, battery, starter, long battery cable that runs from the battery to the starter, slave cylinder, section of exhaust, fuel temp sensor and a couple other sensors and switches as well, longer studs to accommodate the thicker wheels, fuel tank reseal kit, fuel pump, a couple of sections of vacuum hose, rotor cap, plug wires, plugs, air filter, new stereo with all speakers and subwoofers added, skylight, new blue dash lights and a couple cabinet latches.
It comes with an engine compartment fuel line replacement kit and new belts, I haven’t had the time to do the work.. I took it to a VW Vanagon shop in CA that checked it all out and said the transmission was strong, radiator was good, everything worked and was in good shape and suggested I replace a noisy lifter on the #3 cylinder but this doesn’t seem to effect the performance, fuel tank reseal (which I have done) and the fuel line replacement kit (which I have purchased but not installed) no other issues.
The inside is in great shape, could use new carpet in the front but not too bad, all else is clean. The canopy has no tears or holes and the upholstery is also very clean, no tears or stains, the dash is old and has some cracks but is intact. It sleeps 4, has all tables, curtains, etc., nothing is missing or broken. It has a kitchen with sink, propane stove and tank, fridge, water tank and the van can be plugged in to an external electrical source and water source. It has a 5th seat that rotates and can be removed, the front seats also rotate. It is still registered in CA until June of 2018 as I recently moved back home to NM. I towed it here on a car carrier, wheels off the ground.
Because of my remote location I am willing to drive an hour or so to meet you, I am also taking offers.
